Its basically the new shiny version of Outlook. Seriously I've always found it easier to use and less flaky. Switch over to Windows Mail and Windows calendar on Windows 10.

The only one that stands out to me would be a gmail account.

You'd have to pick one though that the Android outlook app also supports. It works with many calendar servers compatible with the caldav protocol. Its free and the least buggy I could find for a free product, but is a complicated to setup. The one I recommend and have used prior is Caldavsynchronizer:

You don't have to use the account for email, just for keeping you calendar. Then just make sure you save your calendar entries against the online shared account.

I'm guessing from your post, the email server you are using is not Exchange based, and switching to Exchange is not an option either. There is nothing produced by Microsoft that does that for Outlook, plainly. You would also need some sort of calendar protocol, and calendar server.
